Is your political stance driving a wedge between you and others?

 Is your political stance driving a wedge between you and others? Are you focused more on your candidate than on Jesus? Do you spend more time telling people how they are wrong to have a different political platform than how much God loves them? If so, you need to get your priorities straightened out. Politics are but a thing of this world, it is God's kingdom we are to focus on. It is good to have a well informed political viewpoint and to vote; it is wrong to use politics as a battering ram against other people. When you do that, you lose friends, and possibly drive people farther away from God if they see you using religion as a weapon.
