I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

For we, who believe, were once lost sheep He sought out and saved too.

There are branches of Christianity that preach of the exclusivity of Christ's salvation to only believers who are of their denomination, who almost delight in that there are a large segment of people who are not saved. I do not understand their delight, their smugness, or their self righteousness.

For we are all sinners, saved by the blood of Christ if only we will believe in Him, and call upon Him to save us. Denominations do not save, they are only worship styles. Christ saves, through His blood shed on the Cross.

God longs to welcome home all who will come. Jesus teaches in Matthew that the Kingdom of Heaven is like a shepherd, who with a 99 sheep safe in the fold, journeys out to find the single lost sheep- and rejoices when that sheep is returned to safety.

We should mourn for those who don't know Christ, do our best to show them His love and to share His Gospel, and rejoice with the angels in Heaven when any soul comes to Christ.

For we, who believe, were once lost sheep He sought out and saved too.

God's grace be with you,
Fr. Charles
